The National Forensic Science Technology Center, a member of the NIJ-sponsored Forensic Resource Network, is sponsoring a series of regional cold case training events. The goals of the events are to educate attending law enforcement officers on strategies used to solve cold cases; identify the resources available from the Federal government to support their mission; and provide information from model Cold Case Units on how to prioritize cases, conduct cold case interviews, leverage forensic technology, and gain support from local legislators.
The final training under the current funding, to be in April in Pittsburgh, PA., will be filled with attendees from our two East coast "basic" trainings in 2006 and 2007. We do not anticipate any open slots.
Please keep checking www.dna.gov for future trainings or fill out the form below to receive information on any future sessions.
